Over the years, the United Methodist Women and the Rolla United Methodist Church have participated in dozens of special projects. Just now, the United Methodist Women are putting together donations for the local food pantry, knitting hats for cancer survivors and making quilts for those who need them. In the fall, they will begin filling shoeboxes with children's toys to be distributed by the local food pantry for Christmas.
If you would like to help, you can drop off, new, unwrapped clothing, toys, school supplies, books, We need small, inexpensive items to fill the boxes, items such as: small dolls, toy cars, stuffed animals, children's card games, yo-yos, balls, pens, pencils, crayons, markers, notebooks,coloring books, children's story books, toothbrushes, washcloths, t-shirts, hats, gloves, hair clips, packaged candy. If you donate flashlights or toys that need batteries, please consider including batteries with your gift. And, thank you!
