The United Methodist Church has served Rolla in many ways since the Rolla Methodist Church was founded in 1895. Over the years we have provided spiritual and secular leaders, teachers, volunteers and other resources to help the community deal with some real disasters and dozens of smaller problems. and some real disasters. The church continues to serve in a number of ways:
-- We provide food and non-food items (including toys at Christmastime)to the local food pantry;
-- Musicians from the church perform at local nursing homes;
-- Ladies from the church work with women of other faiths in the Dorcas society making needed blankets and prayer shawls, and hats for cancer patients;
-- And, as always, we stand ready to work with other churches to help victims of tornados, floods and other natural disasters, locally or nationally.
